A Memorable Day at the 2024 Book Fair in Sri Lanka



Like every other year, in the year 2024, the Colombo International Book Fair was held in month of September . unforgettable a experience that I got to share with my friends those a day. We wandered around the premises for a long time to buy new release books that we had not read before. My friends and I participated in a creative writing workshop, where we tried our hands at writing short stories. Books ranged from old books to contemporary bestsellers. We also enjoyed some delicious local snacks while taking a break in the evening , exchanging book with each other. On that day we had the opportunity to meet the book authors and investigate their works. We also did not forget to get copies of their autographs as a memento of the day. As we left the book fair, we couldn’t stop talking about all the things we had seen and experienced. It was a day well spent, and I’m already looking forward to next year’s book fair .
