Unforgettable Memories from Our Friends' Trip to Kandy

 

Last December, my friends and I decided to go on trip to Kandy.  Seven friends joined me for this. They are Hiruni, Binari, Shashika Akka, Madushi, Madushi's sister, my sister and me. We had breakfast at the beginning of the trip and left for Kandy at around 8 am from Polgahawela railway station. Our first stop was the Peradeniya Flower Garden. After taking endless pictures among the beautiful flower trees and towers, we left for the Kandy city. We had lunch at a comfortable restaurant. After that we paid a visit to Dhaladha Maligawa. Subsequently , we walked along the Kandy Lake Circle and bought delicious food and souvenirs from the Kandy City Center shopping mall. After enjoying the beauty of the city throughout the day, we all left for home by bus around 6 pm.
